Lazarus Group And LinkedIn Breach
A North Korean linked group which was operating maliciously. It offered jobs via linkedin and then left malwares in people’s profiles. The scam starts with a job offer message and goes to stealing personal data of the target.
That is why you should beware when giving out your personal details. Check the authenticity first then proceed.
Employee Screening Disa
A global screening company which provides employee screening services was attacked with the data breach. Where it lost almost 3.3 million of users data. This was a background check company. It became the target of cyber crime because it has a vast amount of users’ data.
Stalkerware apps
The logo has three apps under its name which are
● Cocospy
● Spyic
● Spyzie
Apparently these trio share the same basic security details. Which made them vulnerable to attack. The person’s call logs, messages, everything gets exposed without the user’s knowledge.
People who sign up for these apps get their email account stolen too. The people who used this app were victims of the theft.
Community health centre
There was a non profit community health centre which had millions of customer’s data. The hacker stole about 3 million patients’ history. The anonymous hacker stole the name and addresses of patients. The treatment and diagnosis as well as the social security number was stolen from the records.
US Federal Government Data
In the beginning days of the Trump presidency witnessed a kind of breach which will go down in history as well. Because the US. Saw the biggest breach in its history. The organisation under Elon Musk has some individuals who got access to highly confidential documents from the government’s top security departments.
