End-to-End Encryption is coming to iPhone And Android Now

The infamous end to end encryption was only available in the same set of mobile phones. But this feature is coming in between iPhone and Android. Before this the multi platform encryption was not available. But after the new specifications the universal encryption is now possible.

The RCS is already trying to make Universal SMS communication possible. That too with highly sophisticated features. These features are just like whatsapp. Such as read receipts, chat indicators, group messages and file sharing etc.

Before this all many android mobile phones were using the rich communication services but after the launch of iOS in iPhones Apple also adapted this technology. The RCS features were always available in the cross – platform but the encryption ( E2EE) has become available just now.

For those who do not know that E2EE is an end-to-end encryption. Which allows the messages to stay private only between the sender and the recipient. After the launch of this encryption feature many tech companies made a big hit with their sales.

Because users feel safe with the fact that their messages are just between them and their contact. Nobody can snoop in to read them. The third party is not allowed to read or see messages between the two parties. This encryption will ensure great response from the general public.

After the adaptation now Google is also adding the E2EE feature in its text app. Although encryption is an amazing feature, this too has its own challenges. That is why the universal profile of  GSMA is in the picture too. It basically provides consistent messages between different devices. That too specifically on the rules of the RCS.

This latest model of E2EE has a base of an extensive layer of cryptography. This mechanism is an important tool for the harmonious encryption between the sender and the receivers. That is why iPhone and Android will now easily share messages through their own default messaging app.

In this context the RCS is the very first one to provide with the service of a higher scale. Which allows messages between the different models of mobile. Such as android and iPhone. The message app in android and the iMessage app in iPhone will now operate with secrecy. Just like end to end encryption in the whatsapp messenger and many other apps.

Conclusion

The overall debate of cross model encryption has now come to rest. Because the secrecy between the sender and the receiver has great significance. Encryption between different devices will make the security features stand out more than before.

Plus the SIM authentication and E2EE together both will provide extra security and privacy against all the scams and security threats.
